1.3           Floding de LSU em multiplas áreas

·         O ABR só envia as rotas de resumo da área quando toda a área estiver sincronizada. Para otimizar os resumos é importante usar endereçamento IP contínuo;
·         ABR examina o Link-State DB e gera uma LSA de resumo (LSA-3) que é adicionado a um LSU que é distribuída em todas as interfaces que não fazem parte da área das redes resumidas; As LSA-3 não são enviadas quando:
·         A interface do vizinho estiver em um estado abaixo do de troca;
·         Áreas totally stubby;
·         Se na LSU tiver LSA-5 ele não envia para Stub e Totally Stub;
·         Quando um ABR recebe uma LSA-3 ele inclui na database e faz um flood para a área local;
·         São calculados os caminhos para destinos dentro da área;
·         São calculados os caminhos para destinos fora da área;
·         São calculados os caminhos para destinos fora da AS, exceto se for uma área Stub.

1.4           Virtual Link

É um link entre uma área não diretamente conectada ao backbone com o backbone passando através de uma área.
·         Deve ser estabelecido entre 2 ABRs da mesma área sendo um ligado na área 0;
·         Usado para ligar duas áreas 0;
·         Uma área stub não pode ter virtual-link.

2        Cenário

2.1           Objetivo

Sete roteadores (C1, C2, C3, R3, R4, R5 e R6) são conectados em uma rede OSPF e devem ser configurados seguindo o critério de áreas:
·         C1, C2 e C3 pertencem à área backbone;
·         R3 conectado ao C2 se comunicam por meio de RIPv2 onde o C2 deve redistribuir as rotas do RIPv2 para o OSPF usando a métrica Externa 1;
·         O R4 conectado ao C3 pertence à área 4 e deverá ser not-so-stub area, ou seja receber rotas internas somente do OSPF;
·         R5 pertence a área 5 e deverá ser totally stub NSSA onde deve ser divulgado pelo roteador de C3 apenas a rota default;
·         E o R6 pertence à área 6.

2.2           Topologia

2.4           Configuração dos Roteadores

Em todos os roteadores configura-se o roteamento OSPF pelo comando “router ospf ” onde o “processo” é um numero do processo OSPF. O roteador também possui um router ID único que geralmente é a interface loopback ou então o maior endereço IP do roteador.
Para adicionar interfaces deve-se usar o comando “network
área ”. Um roteador pode ter interfaces em áreas distintas, define-se cada área pelo comando network.
Para o roteador fazer vizinhança OSPF é necessário que a rede da interface esteja no comando “network” e a interface não esteja configurada como “passive-interface”.
O roteador C2 e o R3 possuem roteamento RIP usando “router rip” e divulgando a rede de conexão entre eles com o comando “network”. Párea redistribuir no OSPF usa-se o comando “redistribute”.
A configuração da área 4 como uma área NOT-SO-STUB é feita tanto no roteador de borda (C3) quanto em todos os roteadores pertencentes a área. Deve-se configurar o comando “area nssa” dentro da configuração do OSPF nos roteadores que possuírem interfaces pertencentes à área.
A configuração da área totally stub é feita igual a configuração da área 4 stub, porém, no roteador de borda, é configurado o comando “area nssa no-summary

·         C1, C2 and C3 pertencem a área backbone, ou seja, área 0.
·         Todos os roteadores geram LSA Type-1 com suas redes para seus vizinhos ou para o DR;
·         O C2 é um ASBR, pois faz fronteira com rotas externas RIP.
·         C2 gera LSAs Type-5 das rotas externas.
·         C3 é um roteador de borda de área ABR com uma área NSSA, NSSA totally e uma área comum.
·         R4 está na área NSSA Area 4.
·         R5 está na área NSSA Totally Stubby Area 5.
·         R6 está na Area 6.
·         C3 gera LSAs Type-1, Type-3, Type-4 e Type-5.
·         R4, por estar em uma area NSSA, gera LSAs Type-1 and Type-7.
·         R5, por pertencer a uma area NSSA, apesar de ser Totally stub, gera Type-1 and Type-7 LSA's.
·         Type-4 and Type-5 LSAs não são propagadas para a área Area 4.
·         Somente a rota default é propagada para a área 5.
·         A area 6 recebe LSA Type-3, Type-4 e Type-5.
